Real Estate site needing multiple listing plug-in

  I am completely new to WordPress though I have used other web-based site creators. My question is regarding the version of WordPress I will need to use in order to plug in features like an MLS listing service that will continually update listings, or a mortgage calculator. I clearly cannot use the basic (free) plan but do I need to go all the way to the self-hosting version? Appreciate any assist on this.

  Yes, you will need to be self-hosted in order to use plugins.
