Real Limits on hosting with WordPress.com

  We are looking for a detailed quotation from WordPress.com

  If we host with 99 USD/year plan of WordPress.com:

  1. Can we upload a custom database of MySQL on WordPress.com?
  2. Can we use custom PHP on WordPress.com? also, complete Theme with Filezilla FTP?
  3. What is limitation of Bandwidth, CPU and Memory while hosting on WordPress.com? eg. There can be even 400,000 users in an instance on our website. Our requirement is huge.

  We are acutally comparing AWS EC2 with simple wordpress.com hosting. Currently we own on premises dedicated servers. But we need better load balancing, bandwidth and scalability solutions with better uptime. Please respond a practical, there is nothing as unlimited on earth!

  Please quote with complete transparency and any hidden charges.

  Also compare wordpress with Amazon AWS or any other cloud services.
