Really free themes/presentations for my blog, no anual or trial; where?

    And is Colinear on of them? I don’t trust this stuff, i fear that soon you will say that the plan if off and now it is paid…

    You find all available free themes for the wordpress.com platform at https://wordpress.com/themes/ and yes Colinear is one of those themes, https://wordpress.com/theme/colinear

    Ok, i thank you but where is that said/visible on the page? i don’t see any reference to free of charge use. Are you part of the Blogger team or just a volunteer/user? I would like to be more assured. Nive profile picture, I love birds :)

    Hi there!

    If you go to https://wordpress.com/theme/colinear you’ll notice that it says “Free” next to the “Activate this design” button. You can use this theme for free of cost on your WordPress.com site.

    Colinear was introduced in August 2015, just over six years ago. Most WordPress.com themes, free and premium, don’t last that long before being retired. My latest count of free themes available since 2009 is 367. I don’t recall a single case where a free theme was upgraded to a premium theme, although it might have happened rarely without my noticing it. Themes are, however, often retired within a few years of being introduced.

    Like @staartmees, I’m a volunteer. If we were staff, then under our profile photos it would say “Staff,” “Happiness Engineer,” or something other than “Member.”

    Also, if a free theme was by some chance upgraded to a premium theme, since you chose the free plan you’d be under no obligation to pay for it. Instead you’d been given the opportunity to choose another free theme. The free plan is never automatically upgraded to a paid plan.

    Thank you all so much. I don’t know if it is just Colinear but it is kind of slow and not alll saved changes do get saved. Any idea why? what other updated similar theme could i choose, with two sidebars, i really wanted the side bars. I didn’t notest the free reference but thank you for the information aisajib, and thank you musicdoc1 aswell..
