really stuck with themes
-
I purchased a URL for my new blog through wordpress.com, thinking it would let me add themes if I had this premium feature. I have a theme I really want to use, but it won’t let me upload it – is there anything at all I can do, or should I just ask for a refund for the URL and host somewhere else?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

May be. There is a large difference between
WordPress.COM and
WordPress.ORG

Gosh I guess you didn’t read this warning:
Before Upgrading
The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. With the upgrade, your blog will still be hosted here at WordPress.com, which means that you will not have FTP access to your files and must still abide by our Terms of Service accordingly.

wow, thanks for the really sarcastic advice.
I’m not disabled, I’m just new to wordpress. I did notice that, but didn’t have a clue what FTP was at the time and thought you could just download and upload new themes easily with the premium account. -
It’s unfortunate that you did not understand what was clearly stated and did not ask questions when you did not understand what was written.
The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable the permission to use advertising, any kind of prohibited code, or upload additional themes and plugins. …
For the record I was not being sarcastic and I don’t welcome your abusive labeling of disabled people.

It says quite clearly “The Domain Mapping Upgrade does not enable … upload[ing of] additional themes.”
You can contact staff tomorrow and ask for your money back, if you’re within the normal refund time period.

Where most Support staff live it’s already January 1, making tomorrow Jan 2.
Also, there’s a limit to my helpfulness when someone misuses the word “disabled” for “stupid.”
