Rearrange page setup

How can I get my profile to appear first on my page with the images following.

For some reason, mine is like this:

    Initial images

    Profile

    Images I Added today

I want all the images grouped together so that no images get overlooked. I am in the process of submitting my Word Press link to a potential employer, so any help you can give me is appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • I’m not seeing what you’re describing at https://hkoriginals.wordpress.com/

Would you please give us a link to the post or page with the problem?

The only link I have is:

    https://hkoriginals.wordpress.com/

The images I added yesterday can only be seen if you scroll to the very bottom of my page (under CONTACTS)

If you already went to the very bottom and did not see my images, there must be another issue.

    Thanks.

  • Hi there,

The content is appearing in that order on the page, because that’s the order in which they were added in the editor.

Go to My Site ->Site ->Pages and edit that page.

From the top, currently, you have a gallery block containing a bunch of images under the heading “Featured works”.

Then you have a media and text block under the About Me heading.

This is followed by a columns block containing logos under Clients, another columns block with your contact info and a form, and at the bottom a number of single-image blocks, each containing an image.

If you want to have the images at the bottom included in the gallery at the top, you need to click on that gallery, and use the gallery controls to add the images there, instead of adding each image in its own block at the bottom.

And if you want the About Me section to appear first, you can move that block to the top of the page using the arrow controls that will appear when you select that block.

You can see a general overview of the editor here:

And instructions for how to add additional images into an existing gallery can be found here:

Thanks for replying to my post. I will try to fix the posts as you say, but I am not sure I fully understand. Maybe when I actually get onto the page I can work it out. I appreciate your help!

  • Sure, let us know if you still have questions.

I’d also recommend having a look at this page: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/
