rearranging posts
-
Hi. New here. My question: how to rearrange my posts coz I’m posting an old write up and don’t want that as the first post? Post, not page. Also, any way we can PRE-DATE a post? Coz I copy-pasted my posts from Multiply and just put Re-post which is kinda awkward. Thanks a ton.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi diwathala, when you are writing a post, by the right side of the screen, there have a field
“Publish Now” Edit, you must click on edit and set the date that you want to publish that post, if you don’t want to put that post on the top, you just set a date in the past, that will make your post to show in that place chronologically in the past so that post will not be the first. On the other hand, if you put a future date, your post will be delayed until that date.
Best Regards,
Diego. -

Hi, how do I feature a specific post from my blog so that it is always the one on top/homepage? The blog is http://jowor.wordpress.com

@jowor, set the post as a sticky post and it will stay at the top of the main page as long as it is set as a sticky post.

Your question is unrelated to the original poster’s. For future reference it helps to keep these forums organized if you start a new thread with a new question. Lots of folks read these forums for information and confusing a thread with multiple problems makes answers nearly impossible to find.
But I’ll answer you here: you want to make a sticky post to stay on top of your front / home / blogging page:

No worries. Please don’t hesitate when you have other questions to start a new thread!
