Rebalance Portfolio

Can anyone explain in simple terms how to get a portfolio to show up? I’ve read all the instructions and created Projects but I seem to be none the wiser on how to get these to show.
I’m on a free plan and what I’d really like is a gallery type area to display artwork and also a blog section. Thank you.

If you have added ‘Portfolio’ posts to your site, you can add the ‘Project Type’ or the ‘Project Tags’ to the menu and that will display the portfolio posts.
Could you please let us know:
– How did you add the portfolio posts?

To add the ‘Portfolio’ to your menu:
– Go to ‘Customizer’ wordpress.com/customize
– Select ‘Menus’ –> ‘Primary’
– ‘+ Add Items’
– In the pop-up list click on ‘Project Type’ or ‘Project Tag’ as per your choice/need
– Select the Type/Tag you wish to be added to the menu.
– Click ‘Publish’ to save the changes.Let us know if you need more help.

Thank you for your help – I have managed to add Projects to the menu!
(I don’t know what is happening with my social menu as the icons just show as lots of WordPress Ws but that’s another issue!)
