Rebalance theme author block

    At the end of the blog post the author block (as I call it) is displayed based on the user’s Gravatar image and profile. Is there a method to turn it off? Will this method turn it off for all sites or just Rebalance?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Its not Bradberry Spread that needs the help, it’s another blog I’m creating which is currently private. I’m sure the author block can be seen in the Rebalance live demo site.

  • Hi Kevin, if the site running Rebalance has access to custom CSS, then this will hide the author bio on single posts:

    .author-meta {
     display: none;
    }

    If your site won’t be launching for a little while, you might be interested in a new feature that we’re in the process of adding, which will allow you to hide the Author Bio via the Customizer on a site-by-site basis. The new feature (called Content Options) will be announced on the main WordPress.com blog when it’s ready, so keep your eye out for it. :)
