Rebalance theme: want more blank space between image and text
-
Hi, I am happy with the Rebalance Theme (https://wordpress.com/theme/rebalance) but would like to have more buffer/blank space in posts, between the text blocks and the images. Sometimes it looks too crowded.
Any way I can change this? I have tried (using the new WordPress Gutenberg editor) to just add extra spaces/empty lines in paragraph blocks, but this is clunky and doesn’t work consistently.
Thank you,
Megan

Hello @meganjamer,
Let’s see what can be done for the spacing. I have checked your website (
meganjamer.com) for the requirement. You can try adding below Custom CSS to your theme and check if the spacing looks good to you. Please, note that I have increased the space by 30px for now. You can adjust it according to your need..entry-content .wp-block-image { margin-top: 30px; margin-bottom: 30px; }While checking your website, I also found that it is using name servers that aren’t associated with WordPress.com.
This support forum assists only users of the WordPress.com platform.
Your website is using the open source WordPress software hence for further queries you’ll want to look over to https://wordpress.org/support where you will find members having much more experience with the software you are using.
If you don’t have a username on the Org forums you can register one on the top of that page.
Please find out more information on the differences here:
I hope this helps.
Let me know if you have any doubts.
Thank you!Regards,

@pranaliwp, please don’t refer users to the general WordPress.org forums for Automattic themes. Either tag the thread for staff, or point them to the specific forum for the theme, in this case https://wordpress.org/support/theme/rebalance/
