Reblog button has disappeared from blogs

  Hello dear WordPress people. I want to thank you for restoring the reblog button. I noticed your update yesterday and I tried it today. It works perfect. Please send my regards to every person who lost his time to fix this. Thanks.

  I can see the Reblog button at the bottom of this post:

  Where exactly do you not see it? Please note as I said above, you will not see it on your site’s front page, only on single posts. It also won’t show on posts that you yourself created by reblogging, so it’s normal for the button not to appear on https://hopefoundinme.wordpress.com/2018/02/22/a-letter-to-the-parents-who-are-chronically-ill-you-are-not-a-failure/, for example.

  As mentioned above, the reblog button only appears on single posts, not on the front page. If you click on a post title to view the post on its own, for example, https://betweenthelinesbookblog.com/2018/02/27/that-summer-at-the-seahorse-hotel-by-adrienneauthor-contemporary-fiction-rbrt-netgalley-tuesdaybookblog/, the button is visible.

  Your issue is unrelated to the bug that affected other users in this thread. On your site the cause is your theme.

  Your theme was retired in 2013 already. We retire themes when they become too old to maintain as they are no longer compatible with the coding languages in which our features are created. As a result, over time features stop working and if that happens we won’t be able to fix it any more, as there is no way to make it work in the theme without completely rewriting the theme.

  So in this case the only way to get the Reblog button back would be to switch to one of our newer active themes under My Site ->Themes in the dashboard.
