Two friends contacted me to let me know they were unable to reblog my most recent post this morning. I have no idea why. Another friend did reblog it just before the other two tried…

As we have no idea which operating system and browser and version of it those who you report as being unable to reblog your posts are running we cannot help.

I suspect that the problem with reblogs is somehow a new issue on my site. My operating system is Windows 10, and browser, Google Chrome. I tried to reblog the newest post myself and it didn’t work. It’s not a big deal to me, but I would like to understand why reblog suddenly stopped working.

I’m on Windows 10 running FF 45 and I will try to reblog the post and then report back here.

I tried and failed with Firefox 45.
I cannot even see the reblog button using Edge.
I don’t feel inclined to try this using Internet Explorer 11.

Switching themes can be easily done. Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The only time you may have to do a lot of work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme with different features and/or if you have done any CSS editing.
Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.
The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.
