Add topic to favorites
I am currently using the Resonar Theme to implement my blog, but at the end of the page, I am seeing something Add your thoughts here, Post to and REBLOG POST.

How do I remove these three things?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! I’m seeing the Button theme on your site now, so maybe you’re no longer in need of these adjustments?

Hello there! Thanks for your reply. I changed the theme as I could not fix the issue. But if you do not mind, it would be good to know the solution, just in case I decide to put the theme back.

@thecpshah — Okay, great! :)

For “add your thoughts” that is controlled by comments being on/off, which can be set for future posts here: https://wordpress.com/settings/discussion/ (For existing posts, you would need to edit the individual post to turn comments off.)

I’m not seeing “post to” on the demo, but I may be missing it. If you add the theme back and it’s there, let me know where to check and I can see where it’s coming from.

Hi Sarahblackstock,

I tried disabling the reblog option by using the method you provided (settings > sharing but it’s actually on “don’t show…” already.

Hi, all! Turns out the strange reblog issue a few of you are seeing isn’t theme-specific, but something else.

Our developers are looking into it and we will update this thread when we know more/have a fix. (Be sure to subscribe to the thread so you’ll be alerted when new information is posted.)

@sarah I had disabled the Reblog option but it still happened. It happened on The Book Lite theme as well. For now I am good with the Button theme :)

How’s it looking now? Our developers have made a change that hopefully fixes the issue. We’ve been unable to see it, so I can’t confirm.

Can y’all take a look and see if it’s gone now? (You may need to clear cache to be sure your browser updates its info.)

Another update has happened, so please take a look again & see if it’s disappeared.

I had to clear cache to get it to disappear on my end, because a simple refresh didn’t do it, so you may need to clear cache too. :)

Hello Sarah,

I just gave it a try in the current theme (i.e. Button) that I am using and I still saw it.

The way to reproduce it:
1. I log in to my blog and go to home page
2. Scroll down to bottom and I would see the Reblog Post button
3. I refresh the page and it disappears.

However, if I open a different browser and go to my blog (without log in) I do not see the Reblog Post button.

Weird bug!

If you can, would you mind clearing your cache to see if that helps? And which browser are you using?

Ok, so I cleared browsing history in Chrome and as soon I went to home page, I could see the button.

But I refreshed it twice and then it disappeared.

However, on Safari, I did not see it.

The box still shows on mine – catch is cleared, everything is up-to-date. Using Safari.

At the moment, it is working before and after clearing the cache! Let’s see if it keeps working. :)
