Add topic to favorites
Hi guys. I’m having issues reblogging other posts. Every time I click the reblog button, it says “We encountered an issue reblogging this. Please try again.” I’m using WordPress.com, not WordPress.org as I know that reblogging doesn’t apply to WordPress.org users. Any advice? Thanks!

I haven’t reblogged at all. From the very first try it said “we encountered an issue reblogging this. Please try again.”

Hi bekahmoten,

I’m sorry you’re having trouble reblogging. I just did a test reblog and it worked for me. Let’s start with the basics. Can you try clearing your browser’s cookies and cache, make sure you’re accepting JavaScript and don’t have any browser extensions that could be causing trouble? Here is a page on some common browser issues:

You could also try to reblog in another browser to see if that resolves it. If not let us know.

@bekahmoten,

I just had a thought. Is the content you are trying to reblog on on a private blog? Also have you previously reblogged the post in the past (each post can only be reblogged by the same user once)

The post I’m trying to reblog isn’t private. I’ve never been able to reblog anything in the past. The same error has occurred from the very beginning. Here’s the link to the post: http://glamrs.com/2015/06/07/quick-easy-negative-space-nail-art/

Hi @bekahmoten Sorry to hear you’re having trouble. I have been unable to replicate it on our end.

Another option is using Press This instead of the Reblog feature. Press this will allow you to select which text/content to share:
