reblogging by unwanted bloggers

  Dear WordPress team,

  In the last months I do have a problem with a blogger, who is reblogging my content. I suppose, that his blog shows a lot political content, and I do not agree with his opinions. at all.
  I stopped the option to reblog from my blog, just as you shoed here in your support description, but he still does it.

  Any logged in WordPress.COM user can reblog your posts from their Admin bar or from the Reader and you cannot prevent this except by making your blog private.

  This setting for disabling the appearance of the reblog button on posts http://en.support.wordpress.com/reblogs/#is-there-anyway-i-can-disable-the-reblog-option has ZERO effect on the other locations that it appears on.

  Thats what I already found out. I just tried to contact the support here, because I would like to contact them by mail, which is not really easy, if I understood correctly…

  We are happy to answer your WordPress.COM questions right here in this thread. Please simply post exactly what you need help with into this thread, knowing there’s rarely ever a question posted here that has not already been asked and answered.

  But there’s no point in asking Staff about this issue as I already provided the correct answer above. You cannot totally eliminate reblogging unless you make your blog private. To change blog visibility to private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3 . See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  If this guy is reblogging only and has no original content in his blog at all you can do is ask Staff to compel him to make his site private.
