reblogging posts – images not showing

  Hi
  When I reblog a post from another blog the post shows by the image doesn’t. I’ve checked it from different computers using firefox and internet explorer and had other users check too and the image is definitely not showing. Could you help me please as I’d really like the image to show too when I reblog. The post is this one:

  Not all content is included from re-blogged posts.

  In this case, the photo appears to have been below the threshold.

  Hi

  I’ve tried another one and it’s the same again – the image is at he top of the orginal post so why woul it be below the threshold? Is there any way to fox this? I’m a contributer on the other blog so really want the images to show on my blog without having to create a new post :)

  Thanks – I just wondered if there was any news on this. When my blog is reblogged by people the images aren’t showing either

  Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide a timeline for this. However, we are working on the reader quite a bit, so you may see changes in the future.

  Thanks – that’s fine. I’m just a little confused as to why it only seems to affect some blogs. When my blog is reblogged there are no images, when other’s are reblogged (by the same blogger) images show. When I reblog that blogger no images shoe on the reblog either. So I wondered if this was an isolated issue with my and the other person’s blog?

  Okay, could you try uploading a larger image to your posts? The size for featured images in Twenty Elven is 300 x 500 pixels, so trying an image that is at least that size would be helpful:

  ooh that seems to work! I’ve just asked another blogger to reblog a post and it worked without the caption! I wonder why! thanks though :) I’ll get the original blog to try as well to double check but it looks like this may be the root of the problem :)
