Reblogging twice
-
I’m trying to re-blog a post I already reblogged but the button at top of page says “re-blogged” and won’t let me do it again.
Several other bloggers have asked for help with this and the issue has remained “unresolved”. There should be a way to do this. And it appears many WordPress subscribers would like to be able to do this.
How difficult would it be for WordPress in enable multiple re-blogs?
There are many good reasons that someone may want to do this, especially if they’ve been blogging for a long time and want new readers to see this post. I know I could recopy the post, but I want the original likes and comments to remain.
Suggestions?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Currently our reblog system only allows one reblog per user. If you wish, you can manually post a link to the post at additional locations.
I’m going to move this thread to the Ideas forum for further discussion.

If you want new users to see it, just make the post Sticky for awhile.
You will lose readers if you re-reblog things.

I agree. I wanted to reblog a post to two of my my sites and was disappointed that WordPress doesn’t allow it.

Are you reblogging a Post on the same blog site?
If so – then take @RC’s advice and make the Post sticky for a few days, make sure to use the More Tag on the Post so it does not take up the whole front page – much easier and quicker and you can rotate the sticky posts around – or you could put a Widget in the Sidebar at the top with something like “A Blast from the Past” and have a couple of older Posts in it
