Rebranding and changing site name

    Hello, I hope you are well. I am planning on upgrading my site to a business plan and I would also like to change the domain name whilst keeping the same content and platform running. How would I go about this?
    Thank you for your assistance.

    The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff).

    Hi @raymondheally, no problem. I’d recommend adding your plan here:
    https://wordpress.com/plans

    You’ll be prompted to add a domain name at the same time, and you can choose a new one or, if you own one already, map it to our services.

    Also, note the annual Business Plan includes SSL hosting and 24/7 chat support; if you can go for that I’d recommend it, or you can add that later.

    The site will stay the same. You’re just adding a new name, more features, and the capability to add plugins and themes (which could change the look of the site, of course – but adding the plan alone won’t change that.)
