rebuilding my website from a saved version

    I am wondering if I can rebuild my website without purchasing a plan. We are a charity in West Africa, and I would like to transfer the plan to Word Press, but not sure what category to choose.
    As a charity someone has paid for the account through a different server, 1and1 I think, but we would like to take direct control of the web page. What do you suggest?

    What is the address of the site you’re working on?
    To clear up any further confusion, there is WordPress.com and WordPress.org, and they are two different entities.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.

    If you paid for hosting with 1&1 Ionos, your site is hosted there and it is independent of WordPress.com – you can’t transfer that plan here.
