recaptcha stopped working after 2017 theme update

  recaptcha stopped working on my site recently. I’ve tried changing to a different recaptcha plugin, regenerating keys, changing recpatha type. Nothing works. The recaptcha never shows up on the comment form. I suspect this started happening with the recent upgrade to the 2017 theme. Any tips?

  We don’t offer any reCAPTCHA functionality on WordPress.com, so it sounds like you’re using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider.
