I did not want to renew this year and was not contacted regarding a renewal. Please can you close my account and refund the charge to my credit card

Thank you for the transaction ID – I removed it from the title due to security reasons. Do you have access to the account where the domain is connected to? If so, please post in this thread under that account, and I’d be happy to proceed with assisting you with the refund.

Hi there, it looks like you are posting from the same WordPressdotcom user account as you did when you started this thread, so there must be a different account involved.

If you don’t know how to log into the right account, can you head to wpchrg.com and fill out the form there, then get in touch with our billing department to ask for a refund?

You are logged in as
renovationgirl242. This account has never bought anything from us, and doesn’t own any upgrades. The transaction ID you provided is for upgrades on a site in a completely different account.Notifications, as well as a receipt for the renewal, was sent to the email address connected to that account.
As you’ve provided a valid transaction ID, I’ve refunded the renewal.
However, we cannot cancel the upgrades based on that alone, and we cannot close the account at your request at all.
We can only cancel the upgrades if you are logged into the correct account that owns them, and you will also be able to close the account yourself in that case.
If you don’t remember the login details for the correct account, please follow our account recovery process at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
The transaction ID you already have can be used as verification on that form.
I’m also following up via email to the address associated with the account that owns the upgrades.
