receive donations : paypal ? MoneyBookers ?…

Hi there,
For a private individual living in France, which site would you advise to receive donations on a WP blog ? I’d like to use something else than Paypal, but isn’t Google Checkout for US companies only, and doesn’t Moneybookers requires a login to make donations ? Please indicate me the best way to fit it in WP :)
thanks in advance
long live wordpress!

Hi W. The official WordPress.com documentation says you can add a PayPal “donate” button. Please note: you must add the “email” version of that button, otherwise it will not work!
http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/In regards to whether or not you can accept donations if you live in France, it would be best to ask PayPal directly.
Other volunteers may drop by to give their insight about Google Checkout or Moneybookers.

hi airodyssey, yes the paypal button is added in a foot widget :) Let’s hope bill gates will come and drop some millions…
But when you click on itthen you have choice between to log into paypal, or to continue by clicking a small link.
Is it possible to link directly to a credit card form ?
thanks

I’ve had mine up for almost five years of near-daily blogging (4000 posts!), and in that time my sister’s given some money, a friend sent $25 “to get your drank on!” and I got two other donations, all totalling $700.
Don’t get your hopes up.

hi,
thanks but since I write french poetry inspired by Nietzsche, my 4-years work consists in 15 pages : that ain’t the kind of thing you get donations for ; )
