Received a complaint from a blogger that his comments aren't posting to my blog
-
I received an email from one of my readers who has tried to post comments to several of my posts. He said when he fills out the comment form and hits Post Comment, his comments just disappear and they don’t post. He says he’s tried about 13 times over the last few months.
I don’t know if he is the only one who is having problems. I seem to be getting comments from others that are posting okay. Although I had one person say she had a problem posting a comment as well.
What could be the problem for this one reader? What advice can I give him so that he’ll be able to post comments to my blog? I’m using the Twenty Eleven theme.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If this person has a wordpress.com username account they ought to log in here and get specific help. When they do post here they will need to provide:
(a) Exactly what kind of device they are are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
(b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) they are using by checking here if necessary http://supportdetails.com/As you can see below there are browser related and connectivity issues that can cause this issue. You can email what follows to the person in question if they do not have a username account here at WordPress.COM.
1. If you are not running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/ please try upgrading or switching first.
2. If you are using an IE browser in compatibility mode please disable that mode. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view
3. If you are running one of the browsers and versions listed at http://browsehappy.com/
(a) Try clearing your browser’s cache http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050
If applicable see here for instructions on how to clear the cache for Chrome and Safari on the iPad:

http://browsers.about.com/od/howtousemobilebrowser1/ss/How-To-Clear-Browsing-Data-In-Chrome-For-Ipad_6.htm(b) Make sure that you have both third-party cookies enabled and JavaScript enabled
http://en.support.wordpress.com/third-party-cookies/
http://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=12654(c) Disable all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily. Know also that security and firewall programs and programs that run incognito mode may need to be temporarily disabled as well.
(d) Try enabling HTTPS: http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/
Add both *.wordpress.com and *.wp.com to your list of trusted sites under the Security tab. Make sure to uncheck the box for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone.” http://en.support.wordpress.com/https/#frequently-asked-questions
4. You can use this link to see if your flash is up to date. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ If it’s not then go to http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/ and download and install the latest version of flash.
5. Try using another browser.
