Received A Spam Link

  Greetings;

  I just received a spam link stating they will receive an email every time I publish a post. I was able to check the link, I found out it is a spam. Please see below the message I received.

  (email visible only to moderators and staff) just started following you at http://kmihran.wordpress.com. They will receive an email every time you publish a post. Congratulations.

  Kindly help me to support my profile and block it.

  That is not spam. That is a notification that someone has subscribed to your blog. In your notification settings, you requested to be alerted when anyone subscribed.

  If you don’t want strangers to follow your blog you can set it to private. Then only people you invite will be able to see it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/

  There is no way to block someone from following a public blog.

  If you do not want notifications of subscribers, either take the Subscribe widget out of your widget area or change your notification settings.
