Received an invoice for domain mapping for a WP site I cannot log into

    I no longer use this site and I guess, I should have deleted it and the recurring payment for domain mapping. However I didnt, so I’ll have to pay for the domain mapping. But so that doesn’t happen again I wanted to delete the blog site but I cannot log into it. Please help

    We need details please.
    1. What is the domain URL?
    2. What is the underlying .wordpress.com URL?
    3. Exactly which username account registered the underlying .wordpress.com blog and purchased the upgrade for it?
    4. When was the upgrade purchased?
    5. When did the refund request and upgrade cancellation take place?

  • Hi @cwagstaff2013, I don’t see any sites on this account or any recent upgrades. But if you’ll log into the correct account, you can remove domain mapping without having to delete the site. It will will just revert to its old address.

    Also, if you’re within 30 days, we should still be able to refund you.

    Hi @supernovia for your response. the problem is that I used to have a blog.words-of-art.com but I can no longer log into it to make any changes as I think I have deleted the account.

    Detailed below is the transaction showing on my PayPal statement from WordPress to Prism Innovations.

  • Hi! Okay, that was indeed under a different account. I removed the transaction ID since this is a public forum, and folks could use that to gain account access.

    I’ve refunded and removed the upgrade. The site is still active. If you’d like help gaining access to that account, let me know and I’ll contact you privately to resolve that.

    Wow – great – yes please I would like to gain access to it… as I am just about to resuscitate the web site… but could may do it all via WordPress ….. please to contact me directly, what do you need?
