Received complaint about spam backlinks

Someone has contacted me to say their site is receiving thousands of spam backlinks from my site. I’ve researched this to the best of my ability but don’t see how or why my site is doing this. I need assistance.

What is the url of YOUR site and what is the url of the site claiming they are being spammed?

Thank you for the reply.
My site: https://yesbiscuit.com/
The site claiming they are being spammed: https://estrelamountaindogs.com/

Hi there @yesbiscuit did they give you any more specific info than “thousands of spam backlinks” at all? Do you happen to be copying and pasting any content from other sources such as webpages on other sites? Or linking to images on other sites?
Thanks for the additional info!

This sounds like a bit of a tricky issue. Have you already taken a look at your foundational links?
-
You’ll want to make sure any backlinks you’ve been building for your site are reputable and high quality, as poor-quality backlinks, can cause issues like this. If you’re not sure how to go about that, consider getting a foundation package from a reliable link-building service. This is a great way to get your site’s backlink profile on the right track and avoid issues like this in the future. It will help your website get a better listing on search engines and get more views.
