    Hi there,

It is possible that you are logging in with the wrong WordPress.com username. Check the username that you are logged in with and also check the details from the email.

Let us know if you managed to solve the issue. If not, please also share what service needs to be renewed (is WordPress.com related?)

    Thanks,
    Stefan

  • Hi there,

You are logged into the wrong account – the account you’re using to post here does not own any sites, and hasn’t even been logged into since it was created in June last year.

Please log out of this account, then log in using the email address at which you received the renewal email instead.

But this was the email account which i received a remainder from wordpress.

  • Then you likely either have one email that’s redirecting to another, or you have emails that are aliases of one another.

For example, if you have WordPress.com accounts myname[at]gmail.com and my.name[at]gmail.com, notifications for both accounts will go to your same Gmail address, as Gmail sees those two versions of the address as the same account, but our system treats those as two completely different emails. In the same way Google sees old legacy “googlemail” addresses as the same email as the corresponding Gmail address, while our system will see them as different.

Other email providers have similar setups, for example, Microsoft treating @outlook.com and @hotmail.com as the same address, and yahoo ignoring dots in an email the same as Gmail does.

So perhaps check if we didn’t actually send the email to an alternative version of your email – if you expand the sender info section in the email you should be able to see the exact address we actually sent it to. Then log in using that version of your email address.
