received emails in html indicating changes had been made to my post
-
I received 2 emails from WordPress.com indicating that changes had been made to two postings. The rest of the email was in html. Why did this happen? Why did I receive these messages when all the changes I made were before the post was published. Has someone taken over my wordpress.com blog? This has never happened before. I am concerned about the security of my blog. Why did WordPress send these emails? What should I do about it?
Thanks for any help you can be in this matter

I hope that someone in the community can suggest why this happened and what I need to do about it. If not, how do I get ahold of wordpress.com directly.

What specific changes did they say had been made? What was the exact email address of the sender of the emails?

The address was wordpress.com and had the do-not-reply reply address.
The whole changes in the blog post were in html, with two paragraphs highlighted in color. I’m a bit rusty on my coding (more used to xml as well), so I’m not sure about the actual changes suggested by the email. The timing of the changes seems a bit off — I was sure I was off the computer at the time these changes were registered.
Just doing a quick scan of the blog in the published view, it seems that nothing has been changed.
I did make several changes, but all before I posted — and just getting these 2 emails is odd. I didn’t get the usual notification that my blog entry had been posted.
I have copies of the emails if this would help.
Thanks for your quick response! If there is any more info I can provide, let me know. -
I suggest you forward them to support at wordpress dot com and ask what’s up. Staff will be able to help you there.
