Received ‘There has been a critical error on your website.’ message

I’m working on a clients wordpress website, and during the customizing of the pages, I wanted to try a install a theme, but the website crashed and I received the ‘Critical Error’ message, my client says he didn’t see the email, I asked him to check the spam folder, but he says he still doesn’t see it. I can only log into the ‘WordPress.com’ login site, this shows no websites created, but the client has already purchased one of the services offered on the site. I do not know how to get back into the website admin area, (I can recreate the website again so starting over from scratch not an issue) getting into the website admin is the main issue. Any guidance on how to resolve this issue will be appreciated. I don’t know the FTP address, and I don’t know if the website ‘Name’ is hosted by WordPress or a different hosting company.

  • Hi,
