receiving email for blogs I follow

  Somehow I enabled something that sends me an email message for blogs that I follow. How can I disable this function? Thanks so much.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You didn’t do anything.

  WordPress.com staff changed the settings for all of us so that now, whenever you leave a comment on a post you automatically get subscribed to email updates. It’s the default now. I hate it. Everyone hates it. The ONLY way to avoid it is to make your comment and carefully UNTICK the box that says “Subscribe me to email notifications”.

  And for blogs you’re already getting emails for, there’s a link at the bottom of the email to change how often you get those.
