Receiving email notifications despite 'Manage Delivery Settings'

    In ‘Manage Delivery Settings’ – I have selected ‘Never Send Email’ under ‘Default Email Delivery’. Yet every time a blog that I follow publishes a post I receive an email notification.

    Is this feature broken? Is there a reason I am still receiving email notifications even if I selected ”Never Send Email”?
