Receiving like/comment notifications

    I usually receive a few notifications of likes, and occasionally, comments. Last post – nothing. I’ve checked my wordpress settings (discussions and notifications all fine and enabled) and my gmail is ‘primary’ (no tabs) and there’s just one thing in spam, so everything seems fine – but no notifications and nothing showing on the site. Do you have any ideas?

    I’ve checked your latest post (Extreme and Maladaptive Daydreaming) and there haven’t been any likes or comments yet, so there is no activity to pull into the notifications area. As a test, I liked this post and a notification did come though — that is visible under the notifications bell.

    I also checked our email logs and it shows notifications are being successfully sent to your account email address. It would be worth checking the spam folder and if they aren’t there, your email provider may be filtering them into spam before they reach your inbox. You could try whitelisting (email visible only to moderators and staff) to see if that makes a difference.
