Receiving two emails for every notification

Hi there
All of a sudden I seem to be receiving two emails for every notification of a new comment that needs approving, and also two emails for every blog I’m signed up to follow when they post something new. I think the problem is that one is going to @gmail and one is going to @googlemail. I have no idea how this happened, but does anyone know how to fix it?!

I’m having the same problem between Yahoo & Gmail. I’ve cleared my cache, checked all settings carefully in the E-mails accounts & WordPress. I’ve deleted anything linking the two E-mail accounts (such as a back-up E-mail and disabling POP forwarding).
I don’t think it’s the Gravatar – there is a third address in the Gravatar and that is not receiving the duplications.

Note: When we create a support ticket by contacting Staff it’s important to understand they have a backlog. They deal with the support tickets with the earliest dates first. So if we contact them more than once of the same issue the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help. -
I figured it out!
When I changed my E-mail account, WordPress didn’t change over my blog subscriptions, they duplicated them. There truly were two sets of subscriptions out there. One is password protected and that is your actual WordPress account. The other one is not password protected and that is merely a subscription manager that WordPress uses for a subscriber who is not part of WordPress.
When I changed my E-mail from Yahoo to Gmail, the Yahoo subscriptions were treated as a non-member subscriber. By clicking on the bottom of one of those E-mails, the subscription screen came up and I was unable to “unfollow”.
When I clicked on the bottom of the Gmail E-mail, it also came up with a subscription screen. That I left alone as that was where I wanted my mail from.
It appears that responses to comments mostly switched over to Gmail. A few seem to be on my Yahoo account, but that is nearly run out. Those seem to mostly be older comments. I’m thinking I might not have been logged into WordPress when I made them and they are not part of my password protected WordPress account.
