weymouthrifleandpistolclub.wordpress.com is no longer available. The authors have deleted this site.
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
Deleting a site permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to reuse its WordPress.com address. If you delete a blog you will not be able to get it back and no one else will be able to use that blog address. You must be sure you never want to use the blog again if you delete it. There are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent. A verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If you clicked it and the blog was deleted it’s game over. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/However, you can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.

Yes, thats what I have researched since posting – a bit annoying for the original ‘poster’ to not be able to recycle it but hey ho!!!
I now have a problem on a new incarnation of my original at – http://weymouthrandpc.wordpress.com/ where the front page has a ‘NOTHING FOUND’ over the front page – do you have any ideas or should I repost this elsewhere?
Many thanks.
Andy.

By default the front page of your blog displays all posts. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of the blog appeared because the Admin of the blog deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. Read the differences between Pages and Posts.
