  Hi – Is there a way to display the comment text in this widget? I get an avatar, name, and what post they’re commenting on. I’d like to have a teaser of what they said instead of the post they commented on. Or in addition to which post they’re talking about.

  Is there a way to do this? I tried searching, and wasn’t successful.

  Thanks raincoaster. I don’t know how you find the time to help out on so many support questions, and also post on your blog (plus your normal life stuff).

  I’m bummed we can’t do this. Oh well. I feel like I’ve come across wordpress blogs that have it, but must have been hosted from a different site.

  Independent WP blogs can do this. My experience with both kinds is that the excerpt is a good idea, increasing views, but that the excerpt has to be very short or it’ll gobble up all of your sidebar. You can see an example of the other kind of WP blog plugin here:
