Recent Comments Widget- hiding certain authors, categories

    I didn’t realize the widget allowed one to “hide” certain authors, categories.

    Have I understood the use of such options? Because I tried hiding my name as the “author” for the comment? or blog post?.. I thought I was hiding my name and my own responses in Recent Comments Widget. But that didn’t happen. I just don’t like seeing my name in a list of Recent Comments widget.

    So how do I use the widget correctly to achieve that?
