Recent comments widget options not saving
-
The Recent Comments widget does not appear to be saving my settings.
http://roywchang.wordpress.com
I can change the title but the changes I make to the Avatar display size and the number of posts to display do not get saved each time I try to change them and then press the “save button”.
When I refresh the screen, the widget goes back to the original setting of 5 posts and 48×48 avatar display size.
Anyone experiencing similar problem? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You might wait for a few hours and see if it changes. Sidebars are cached on the wordpress servers and it may be that server loads are heavier right now so they are slower to update.

Thanks for the help. I don’t think that’s the issue. I’m able to save the number of posts to display now but it’s just the option for avatar size (or no diplay) that is not being updated.

I think there may still be a few bugs in the widgets admin page. I just tried changing the number of posts and avatar size on one of my test blogs and it did not change either.

This is a known bug with the Recent Comments Widget, and we are currently looking into it.

I guess the same thing happened to my reading setting then. I can not set it to summary, or..?
-
@ockytamtelahitu, you do realize that that setting is for the RSS feed only and not for posts on your blog, right?
When you change that setting, it can take up to an hour for the RSS feed to update and reflect the change.

Stupid me,
So what can i do or how to make my posts showed only their summary at home. So readers need to just click the tittle for full content. Anybody got step by step info on that?
Thanks for your time.. -

@ ockytamtelahitu, use the more tag to split the posts: http://support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/ .
Pay attention to the section at the bottom of that document about formatting issues.
