Recent draft vanishes without trace, and dashbord menus strangely reorganized
-
Since I last posted about a missing draft, I logged out, shut down the computer, and have now come back 5 hours later to find my dashboard menu items strangely rearranged. Most unsettling is having a valuable draft just vanish without a trace like it never existed. Is it possible someone with malicious intent can access my dashboard with admin privilege, or some other way, and do these things? Last few days there has been numerous complaints from wife and kids about this apple computer running at glacial speed.
This raises another concern; why is it that when I publish my posts they appear listed as duplicates among my last few published posts in the featured tag sections, where other author’s postings show a prominent feature image from their current post. This almost seems to be more than subtle censorship without justification.
These are just a few among highly suspicious activities that gives cause to wonder about folks who might enjoy admin privilege in the wordpess community accessing blog accounts and doing untoward mischief with impunity. The accumulative effect of these offenses is not very different from someone breaking into your car, or home, and vandalizing your property…only here it’s intellectual property.
All I hear are cricketts cherping I try to contact wordpress, and not very different results here; or may be I need to allow more time for any response?

Will you please take a screenshot of what you see that’s changed on your dashboard?

Have you checked your draft pages and posts and Trash to see if the draft is there?
Recovering a lost blog post or pagewhen I publish my posts they appear listed as duplicates among my last few published posts in the featured tag sections
I visited your blog and what I noticed is your overuse to Tags and Categories which are treated the same way by search engines. I’m surprised you are seeing duplicates. I would have expected that some posts would be missing posts.
Will you please post the URLs of the posts which are being duplicated? Are they all posts that have this in the title? “SERIOUSLY…Got Milk?”
Please send what I have indicated above to Staff in an email to support@wordpress.com Also include details with regard to the following:

Thanks for your thoughtful reply Timethief.
1.) I’ve taken before, and after dashboard Screenshots.
2.) Before posting to Forums, I thoroughly checked trash for both draft and post pages only to find no trace except for one post that I deleted two weeks ago. That’s where the trail goes cold, because if you cant locate the draft or post you can’t see revisions or recover it.
3.) I’ve been at this for a few months now and when I first started out I was pretty clueless about usage of tags, and categories, so clearly some gross abuses of them are evident. Lately I’ve pulled back and will henceforth avoid crossdupilcations. I didn’t realize this could result in lost posts, althouth the one is question being a draft wasn’t published yet.
4.) Anything I post to the tagged feature sections winds up at one of the two top feature spots not as as feature image like other posts, but each post is listed twice in a column list of posts which amounts to about three of four recent posts; so you see maybe eight lines listing four recent posts. This is piculiar to the Christianity and Religion features sections; one or two of the new feature sections where I’ve posted lately will list them only once, but that doesn’t go to answer why I do not get a feature image posted as the other authors do. Under the two major spots I do see a feature image with a few lines of type that eventually cycle off the front page in the order posted, but I’m still puzzled about that strange duplicate listing at the top. Short answer; no it’s not just the ones that are titled God Milk?
5.) I connect to the internet direct via Verizon DSL using the (using http://)
6.) I’m currently using Firefox 3.6.22. I have noticed there is a recent notice about my Firefox browser being out of date. I will update to the extent that my current older mac OS will allow.
7.) I’m not quite clear on what exactly is active 3rd party cookies enabled.
8.) I recently updated adobe’ flash version.

The most recent stable version of Firefox is 6.0.2 so please upgrade your browser. You are going to have to contact Staff. The support link will be activated again on early Monday, September 19th (UTC). After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
