Recent Entries Widget

  Looking for a way to get the Recent Entries Widget to not repeat the posts that are currently featured on the main page. I am using the Gridlock Theme and it features the Most Recent and the Second Most Recent posts in the Main Index. I would like Recent Entries Widget to list posts from #3 and so on depending on the number of posts I set it to display. Is there a way to do this? I am using WordPress 2.3 and past resolves of this use a completely different language than what the 2.3 widget.php file is using. Thanks in advance

  i think you have a self-hosted blog, in which case you have to go to http://wordpress.org/support to place your query. this is the forum for bloggers hosted by wp.com. please correct me if i’m mistaken.
