Recent post are not showing on homepage

  Hello,
  I’m learning how to set up WP blog. I post few articles but they are not showing on homepage. For 10 days I cannot figure out how to fix it…and I watch all tutorials and all but still nothing … getting really frustrated …please help. Another thing, on dashboard there is not any Plugins. it was but not anymore. Thanks Iva
