Recent post list & tag cloud

I have an unpublished site, as I’m new & just checking I like the theme before publishing. My current theme is Shawburn. Shawburn only has header content & footer, no sidebar. I have added tag cloud & recent post widget to my footer. But I can’t see this in my preview?

Thank you, yes I changed to the theme to Twenty Sixteen, shame as I did like the previous theme. Can you alter the theme, ie adding a sidebar to Shawburn?

No, it’s not possible to modify a theme on WordPress.com to that extent.

Yes, you can open each post in the editor and back-date it.

Thank you all updated. Under the free package can i add a email form to the sight & it will be sent to my email account registered with wordpress.

I went to launch my site & was asked to choose a domain name. Can’t I just have bhbees.wordpress.com

Yes, you can have a free domain. When you’re prompted to choose one, click on the last option “Skip purchase.

Nice thanks I’ve launched. phew looks great. I moved the home page photo to a header image as I wanted it used when I shared the site on social media, rather than another random photo. But now I don’t want the space taken up on top of my other pages (other than home).
Can I also turn cookies off.

The header image will appear across your site so, all pages will display it. There’s a way to hide it on particular pages but that would need custom CSS, available in plan Premium.
