recent post reordering
-
Hi there,
I am writing a blog of which I am entering a lot of information from old diary posts – as I am working in chronological order from when my diary entries were made – with each new entry appearing ontop of the recent posts is making it confusing for others to follow my story.
I prefer for my recent posts to be under the last post that was entered and not on the first page of my blog
How can I fix this?]
Thanks AMandaThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you want your posts to appear in chronological order (ascending and not descending) you can follow this guide to adding a string to your URL: https://en.support.wordpress.com/show-your-posts-in-chronological-order/
And combine that with a Custom Menu giving those URLs: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
To give you an example, here is your December 2015 archive with the posts in ascending order

Create and save a Custom Menu for your site following the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ or here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/2/ for WP Admin (which allows some further options)
Each of the links which display the posts in chronological order is a “custom link” which can be added to the menu following the above instructions.
Your site visitors will still see the regular (not in chronological order) pages when they click on your theme’s header to reach the homepage, a tag or category in your post which leads to tag/category pages, or any of the links in your sidebar widgets.
While you can’t change the behavior of clicking on the theme header, tags or categories, you can offer those custom links in a custom menu widget or text widget to replace the widgets you are currently using.
