Recent Post Widget for other site files

    I’m looking for a widget to display the title of my most recent blog entry on a file on my server unrelated to the blog. My blog is on this same server but I don’t wish to use the blog as the home page of the site or use widgets in the blog sidebar, just use a widget elsewhere on my server. Is this possible?
