Recent Post Widget not working

    I added the Legacy Widget: Recent Posts to my sidebar and added my URL but got the message ‘Cannot load blog posts at this time.’ I also tried using the non-legacy widget ‘Latest posts’ which does not ask for a URL and received the message ‘No posts found.’ However, my posts are displayed on the site under the category assigned. My site is private, so I don’t know how to show this to anyone. I have another blog, so I tried using the URL with the legacy widget and it worked.

    Hi there, all of the posts on the site you listed are Private, so only you can see them.

    Both widgets will only display Public posts, so they aren’t displaying anything for your site.

    In this case, you’ll need to edit each post and switch them to public.
