Recent Post Widget Visibility options
-
I would like to great a sidebar on a specific page that only displays posts with a specific tag.
Here’s an example: I have 4 static pages: Page A, Page B, Page C, Page D.
On Page A, I only want the sidebar to display recent posts with the tag ‘page-a’. Likewise on Page B, only recent posts with the ‘page-b’ tag etc.Is this possible on the basic plan (ie without plugins)?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot change the way any theme is designed to function. The way your theme is designed and set up instructions for it are found at https://wordpress.com/theme/dara

Cheers for the reply and all the links! So I guess basically it’s not possible: ‘Each visibility rule is handled separately. There isn’t a way, for example, to only display a widget on posts that are categorized as “Summer” and also tagged with “Picnic.”’ (from Widget Visibility link).

@lrlookout, you can use “Display Posts Shortcode” in a Widget and then use widget visibility options. Though this is a little lengthy process but can serve your purpose.
