  What is the best way of showing thumbnails and links for a number of recent posts on a page? For example, I would like a recipes page that has a section at the top showing the 10 last recipes posted and small images/summaries… thanks in advance!

  Hi,

  Some themes do that automatically on the blog page and archives pages. If your chosen theme doesn’t do so, then you might consider inserting display posts shortcode (customized to include thumbnails and excerpts) into a static page, and including a link to that page in a custom menu.
