Recent Posts Dated January 1, 1970

Recent posts (regardless of being published immediately or scheduled) are posting with the wrong date. 1 January 1970 places my recent posts back before my first blog entries. Help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is super weird. I’ll mark this thread for staff assistance and see if we can get to the bottom of things.
HE: Here’s a direct link to the 1970s posts: http://kristinkingauthor.wordpress.com/page/30/
@kristinkingauthor it’s the weekend so it might take a little while for a staff person to get back to you on this. In the meantime, what happens if you edit the post and reset the date manually?
If you’ve never done that before, just click “Posts” on your dashboard, find one of the 1970s posts and hover over the title. And “edit” link will appear below the title. Click the edit link to open the post for editing.
On the right side of the edit page you should see a “publish” dialogue box like this one:
If you click the “edit” link under the calendar icon you should be able to change the date.
If that works, please either leave one of the posts with the 1970 date, or create a new “fake” post the same way you created the ones that are ending up in the wrong decade so that the Happiness Engineers and Developers can see what’s going on.

Hi there,
That is indeed strange! Could I get some additional information from you? When you created these couple of posts which are showing as being from 1970, did you do so from the new editor which you can get to from logging in to WordPress.com and then clicking the New Post button, or are these from the classic editor, which you get to by going to your Dashboard and then going to Posts >> Add New?
Let me know, and I’ll see what I can find out!
Thanks.

I’m also getting this using the new editor. I get the 1970 date which is strange as computers were not around then never mind blogs.
I have to go back and reschedule it again for it to work.
