'Recent Posts' disappeared from main page

  Added a text widget to add a flag counter. Tried three different ones. Two didn’t work at all. Removed the widget. Now my homepage looks different — only showing the most recent post when it used to show all recent posts. The ‘likes’ counter reads “loading” when I go to each post. And my stats page might as well be missing. Not sure what happened. Is there extra HTML code hiding out somewhere? How do I get back to my blog before adding the text widget? Did I get hacked?

  Hi Ken,

  Everything looks right to me—seeing posts all the way to October on the home page and the “Likes” on the individual posts pages are loading.

  Have you tried to clear your browser’s cache? My initial thought is some type of JavaScript error that may be the result of something “old” being retained by your browser when it shouldn’t be anymore.

  I’m a caveman! They should make a Geico commercial about me.

  Cleared cache and it didn’t work so was just looking through all my settings. Noticed a check mark under Tools – Compatibility View. Unchecked it and everything’s back to normal.

  Guess I hacked myself. Ha!
