Recent Posts Not Showing Up

  I just switched to WordPress and selected the Suburbia theme. In the preview the two most recent posts appear larger than the rest: http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/suburbia/

  In my blog, however, everything shows up with the smaller tiles: http://supposedlyfunblog.wordpress.com/

  Could someone tell me what I’m doing wrong?

  From reading the details on the theme page to which you linked it looks like this can be achieved by adding sticky posts, which basically glues the posts of your choice to the top of your main page, regardless of how recently they were posted. It’s a good way to feature your most important or most popular posts. If you did want to do this for your most recent posts I think you would have to manually stick/un-stick them each time you made a new post.
