"Recent posts" showing up even though I never added them

  There is a second row with the “recent posts” on my page that i didnt load. I CANNOT find out where to remove it.

  That is the Recent Posts widget that is in your sidebar. You can remove it on your Dashboard Widgets page.

  unfortunately I removed it, and it is not going away – I have refreshed my cookies and my cashe or wahtever and it is still there.
