Recent Posts Widget cannot add feature image

  Hello,

  I don’t currently see a way to make the feature image available in my display recent post widget. Is that the theme I chose or a function of wordpress.com?

  The Recent Posts Widget does not provide an option to display a featured image, regardless of the theme chosen.

  An option I would suggest that may include featured images is to insert customized Display Posts Shortcode into a text widget. By default, the shortcode will display the latest ten posts. You can change the number displayed with the “posts_per_page” argument, and tell it to display featured images with the “image_size” argument.
